Charlie is a deaf 3 year old female pit Bull with a lot of love to give her future family. She is a sweet dog with lots of energy and snuggles. She is house broken, can be left out of the kennel while you are away or put in the kennel. (She sleeps 90% of the time you are out). She does well with other dogs and grew up with two small dogs in her original home. She loves to play with her furry foster siblings and LOVES sticks and stuffed animals. She shows no resource guarding with food or toys. She loves people! Because she is deaf she misses social cues and can get frightened easily if people or dogs don’t approach her from where she can see them, she is starting to pick up on signs like sit and good girl! She would benefit from a family that is willing to put in the time to train a dog with special needs!

Please note: All dogs are expected to attend our next adoption event, however sometimes life gets in the way. We encourage you to attend our next event to inquire about meeting or adopting any dog listed on our site or email us to request a meeting outside of an event.
