Tally is so ready to melt into her forever home. This little black bear cub came in with so much fear and trauma, and the second she felt safe, it’s been nothing but demands for pets, cuddles, and attention. She helps with all the chores, inspects everything you do for quality control, and she really enjoys watching tv with you. 

She is ready out of the box with good leash manners, gentle with treats and food, and knows sit and lie down. She’s completely housebroken and whines when it’s time to go outside. She is so sweet at playtime and very hesitant to use her mouth when wrestling, she’s sort of cat-like with the paw swipes. Loves other dogs and is well mannered with the cat. She has met some calm, kind children and seems to really want to be near them. She is well behaved with kenneling, although you will need to hear her list of reasons why this is unnecessary.

Tally still expects to be mistreated, so sometimes sudden movements still startle her. This should be a consideration for bringing her into a rambunctious home, although I still think she would flourish with kids. She loves getting into the car but then has second, third, and all the way to twelfth thoughts about my driving. 

This little girl has a flight tendency when she is scared, and should be kept well secured until she’s really bonded with your family. Fences are not a problem for her. We have installed a 20’ wire lead in our backyard for her and she knows the drill and is so good about waiting for her potty routine.
