Border Collie / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Young : : Medium Interested in adopting?
Dottie arrived in early February with a prolapsed uterus. She was in very bad shape, but thanks to your donations, she received the vet care she needed. The staff at Pet Emergency Treatment took excellent care of her and performed life-saving surgery. Since then, Dottie has been recovering in a foster home. Dottie has shown us that she is extremely smart and also quite energetic. She’s around 7-8 months old and needs to fill out a bit more but probably won’t get much bigger. Dottie does fine with other dogs, though she’s a little on the bossy side. I think she would love to have a home with another dog in the house, as she is quite playful. What Dottie loves more than anything is human affection. So far she has loved every person she has ever met and is an excellent snuggler. She’s small enough to fit on your lap but big enough to take on long outdoor adventures. If you think Dottie might be a good addition to your family, please fill out an application and come to the adoption clinic on Sunday.
Please note:
All dogs are expected to attend our next adoption event, however sometimes life gets in the way. We encourage you to attend our next event to inquire about meeting or adopting any dog listed on our site or email us to request a meeting outside of an event.
